Terms and conditions
Effective November 1, 2026
What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use flgaragedoormasters.com or ask Florida Garage Door Masters for a repair, a service visit or an installation, whether online, on a call or in writing. Our work area is Miami-Dade and Broward counties, Florida.
If you have a question about these terms, write to flgaragedoormasters@gmail.com or phone (786) 349-6912.
Scope of our work
We repair, service and install garage doors and garage door openers, and we don't work on gates. Any new or replacement door goes in under a building permit, using a model approved for use in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. We help you with the permit application, and the installation is scheduled once the permit is issued.
When a repair isn't worth doing, we tell you so and explain why.
Booking a visit
A booking sent through the website is a request, not an appointment. The visit is set when we call or text you, as you chose on the form, and agree on a time. If rain, traffic or a longer job ahead of yours pushes that time back, we let you know.
Estimates and prices
The estimate itself costs nothing. Before any work starts, we explain what is wrong and what the repair costs, and nothing begins until you say yes. If we find another problem once the work is under way, we stop and explain it, and the extra work happens only if you agree.
How and when you pay is agreed before the work starts. Financing is available for some jobs, on terms we explain before any work. The work is covered by a 1-year labor warranty. If something we worked on acts up, phone us and describe what happened.
Parts, remotes and keypads
We fit parts that match your door and opener. If you bought a part, a remote or a keypad yourself, we check it first and tell you whether it suits your equipment before we use it. A remote bought online does not work with every opener. A new door or opener is ordered only after you accept its written quote.
Safety during the repair
While we work, children and pets are safer outside the garage. If you can do it safely, move cars and stored items away from the door before we arrive. Springs, cables and bottom brackets are under heavy tension, so please leave them to us.
Information on this website
Everything written on this website is general information about garage doors. It is not a quote for your door, and it is not legal or building-code advice. For permit questions, ask your city's building department, or Miami-Dade County for unincorporated areas.
Your details
Sending the booking form gives us permission to call the number on it about that request, or to text it if you chose Text, and for nothing else. We never send marketing texts. How we handle your details is set out in our privacy policy.
Florida law and changes
Florida law applies to these terms and to any disagreement about our work. If we revise these terms, we post the revised version here with a new effective date.
